Chesapeake city schools calendar

The school board approved the 2022-2023 academic calendar at its meeting on Tuesday. The first day of school for students is Monday, August 29, 2022. The calendar includes six Collaboration, Learning, and Planning Days for staff members, which are non-attendance days for students. Thanks to the more than 1,700 respondents who shared feedback on our proposed.
